Hello again, Running.
For the first time in 3.5 years, I went running. While my parents were with the kids, JE and I ran a couple miles around the tree-lined neighborhoods of Santa Clara. And while I found my old rhythm in running and didn’t struggle with breathing (lung capacity once established doesn’t seem to fade very fast?), I could feel the difference in my body.
Oh so weak. And wobbly. Haha.
But it felt good to run again. I forgot about the mental sharpness that comes while running. And the freedom for my mind to think as I enjoy the changing scenery. And the rhythmic tap tap tap of feet on pavement.
Time to get back into this.
